"I can’t say enough positive things about Michael Haibach’s WONDERFUL tale, “Amazing Gracie”! The author’s prose throughout the truly remarkable story was beautifully descriptive and flowed with an effortless style. From the opening Prologue, I found myself drawn in to Grace’s narrative and rued any interruptions forcing me to temporarily set the book down. M. Haibach’s novel depicts his grandmother, Grace, as a veritable phoenix, adroitly rising up from the ashes of seemingly insurmountable hardships dealt her early in life. Upon finishing the biography, I found that his protagonist could likewise be described as a human feline enduring multiple lives: Gracie Dodson, the beloved daughter; Mary Josephine, the abandoned child; Mary Dodson, the young maid; Grace Dawdson, the metamorphosed debutante; and, finally, Grace Haibach, the refined matriarch & gentlewoman! Through it all, M. Haibach’s grandmother surely lived up to her name – meeting life’s setbacks and adversities with grace and tenacity. I highly recommend this fabulous book about the truly Amazing Gracie!"

"I read this entire book cover to cover this past Sunday. In fact, I stayed up late until I finished it and I wanted to read more. It captured my attention from the start with such great detail that I felt I was part of the story. This is a true story that will amaze you and have you turning pages until you finish it. I highly recommend this book . It is without a doubt worth the read. A great Mother's Day gift for those who enjoy reading and for those who have no idea what to get mom. It was my pleasure getting to know and understand who Gracie was. She was a true inspiration of a lady who overcame such hardships and survived. Little did anyone really know who the real Gracie was and how she kept things so well hidden. I give this book 5 stars and double thumbs up. Happy Reading to all."

"This was an amazing book. I loved hearing about Grace and Meg. Grace and Meg taught each other things in life that were so humbling. Grace’s name fits her to the tee. In all that she went through in life, she remained graceful and humble. Her true love and Prince Charming were a delightful romance. Grace found the happiness she deserved. The art museum scene was so innocent but revealing in how graceful Grace approached her relationships. Thank you for such a delightful book and to the narrator. Her voice took me into the storyline as though I was there with Grace. I have to admit the orphanage scene made me cry but I was glad when Grace and Meg became friends. Here’s to rulers and friends that keep you alive and well."
